Clinical Trainee

Samantha "Sam" is a Master’s-level Mental Health Counseling Intern from Capella University. She brings a calm, grounded presence shaped by years of supporting children and families in caregiving roles, where she developed a deep appreciation for empathy, patience, and the importance of feeling truly understood. Sam is passionate about creating a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences with safety and authenticity. She takes an integrative, person‐centered approach that draws from mindfulness, strengths‐based practices, and humanistic principles. Sam believes in each individual’s innate capacity for growth and resilience, and she works alongside clients to help them access their inner strengths and move toward meaningful change. She is especially interested in working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. She is excited and committed to providing compassionate care to each client she serves.

Sam is currently accepting new clients.

Sam is supervised by Morgen Rappa, LCSW. CHHC.
