Compass Counseling & Wellness Location: Poughkeepsie, NY (Hybrid: In-Person and Virtual) Position: Licensed Psychotherapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) Choice of W2 Employee or 1099 Independent Contractor.

Are you looking for a collaborative, forward-thinking private practice? Compass Counseling & Wellness is seeking a fully licensed therapist to join our growing group! We pride ourselves on standing apart from the traditional clinic setting. Our multidisciplinary team comes from a wide array of backgrounds and modalities, bringing unique individuality to the care we provide. We operate on a mix of private pay and insurance and are looking for a dedicated clinician to expand our team.

• Flexible Employment Options: Choose the structure that fits your lifestyle, either a W2 Employee track with benefits or a 1099 Independent Contractor track for maximum autonomy.
• Comprehensive Benefits (W2 Track): W2 Employees are eligible for generous perks, including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, as well as up to 2 weeks of Paid Vacation and Paid Sick Leave for those maintaining a full-time caseload. 
• Administrative & Marketing Support: Billing and insurance claims are handled by Headway or our internal team. Client referrals and marketing are managed by our staff so you can focus on clinical care (though self-advocacy is always encouraged!).
• A Supportive Environment: A collaborative team culture that celebrates individuality, backed by supportive leadership and weekly supervision options.
• Practice Protections: Strict no-show policy protection.
• Flexible Scheduling: Hybrid model with the ability to choose your own hours (Monday to Friday, with one weekend day or evening shifts to accommodate peak hours).

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Candidates MUST hold an active, unrestricted clinical license in the State of New York (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT).
• Clinical Skills: Experience treating children and adolescents or couples is highly valued. Ability to work seamlessly in both in-person and telehealth formats.
• Professionalism: Self-motivated, flexible, and possesses strong time management, scheduling, and patient retention skills.
