CCW School Partnership Program

Compass Counseling & Wellness (CCW) partners with local schools to bring mental health care directly into the academic day. By embedding clinical trainees and licensed therapists on campus, we help students receive continuous, high-quality care without disrupting family schedules or learning time.

How It Works for Families

Navigating therapy around school, work, and extracurricular activities can be difficult. Our School Partnership Program delivers specialized clinical care directly to your child’s school day in a private, confidential setting.

  • No Missed Work or Travel: Care happens during the school day, eliminating the need for parents to arrange mid-day transit or take time off work.
  • Integrated Support: Clinicians coordinate with parents and, when permitted, collaborate with school staff to align therapeutic goals with daily classroom needs.
  • Continuous Care: Students build consistent, long-term relationships with dedicated clinicians in a familiar environment.

Direct Services Available

  • Individual Psychotherapy: Tailored, evidence-based therapy to help students process emotions, manage stress, and build coping skills.
  • ADHD & Executive Functioning Support: Targeted strategies for organization, focus, and behavioral regulation.
  • Social-Emotional Skill Building: Individual and small-group sessions focused on peer relationships, anxiety management, and resilience.
  • Comprehensive Mental Health Evaluations: ADHD diagnostic assessments to guide appropriate academic and clinical interventions.

"By bringing licensed therapy directly into the school environment, we help students stay focused on learning while giving families immediate access to care." Erin Golesani, LMSW

Featured Community Partner: Mizzentop Day School

Located in Pawling, NY, Mizzentop Day School (Early Childhood–8th Grade) partnered with CCW in 2025 to establish a dedicated, on-site satellite office. This collaboration allows Mizzentop families to access specialized counseling directly on campus, creating a seamless support system between home, school, and clinical care. Through this partnership, students benefit from receiving mental health support in a familiar, comfortable environment that is already a meaningful part of their daily lives.

Mizzentop’s nurturing community, individualized approach, and commitment to supporting each student’s unique strengths provide an ideal setting for children and adolescents to develop emotional awareness, build coping skills, and navigate challenges with confidence. Having CCW clinicians embedded within the school community allows therapy to be integrated naturally into students’ routines, helping them feel supported in the same environment where they learn, build friendships, and grow. Together, CCW and Mizzentop have created a model of care that prioritizes the whole child and fosters a community where students are empowered to thrive.
