Derek is a Master’s-level Mental Health Counseling Clinician from Pace University, bringing over a decade of experience offering individuals compassionate, nonjudgmental emotional support. Grounded in empathy and genuine curiosity, Derek approaches each person’s unique journey with care and openness. He is deeply committed to fostering safe, trusting therapeutic spaces, collaborating with clients to uncover their own personal inner strengths and sources of healing. Derek works with individuals across the lifespan, couples, and those navigating substance use challenges. 

He is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who strives to create inclusive and affirming care for all. Derek is pleased to be able to offer a sliding scale at this time.
